How it works

• How long does the treatment cycle last for?
The Electro Flex treatment lasts for 25 minutes. It has an LED countdown timer on the display so you can see at a glance how much time has elapsed and how much time of the treatment remains.
• How does Electro Flex work?
Electro Flex uses proven T.E.N.S. (Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) technology, a non invasive very safe method to reduce acute and chronic pain. Healthcare professionals now advocate T.E.N.S. treatment for a variety of conditions and complaints.
• What does the treatment feel like?
You will feel a tingling sensation in your toes and feet. This will possibly extend up into the lower leg depending on the intensity you have set on the control panel. The feeling is incredibly relaxing and focus groups show that the treatment becomes incredibly addictive.
How often should you have a treatment?
Ideally you should have three or four treatments per week.
• How many different settings are there on the control panel?
There are 10 different treatment variations, each one offering a slightly different treatment pattern and forty different intensity levels from 0 right through to 40. Once you have selected your treatment programme the intensity level can be set at a comfortable level for each foot. So if you have one foot which is clearly more sensitive you can set this to a lower level.
• What are the benefits that the treatment offers?
There are numerous benefits associated with the Electro Flex treatment. The main advantages are increased blood flow and circulation in the feet and lower limbs which increases oxygenation and nutrition retention to your cells. • What are the electrode gel pads for?
In addition to the foot stimulation function Electro Flex can also be used as a muscle stimulator to target specific aches and pains in legs, arms, back, muscles and stomach for example.
• What age groups can use Electro Flex?
Most age groups can use Electro Flex teens to any age. Of course, younger people will more than likely be more sensitive so a lower treatment intensity would be recommended. If in any doubt check with your medical adviser before use.
• Is Electro Flex mains operated?
Yes Electro Flex comes complete with a DC power supply. However, it can also be operated with three C cell batteries, there is a battery compartment on the underside of the unit.
• Are there any contra-indications?
Yes there are contra-indications please DO NOT USE the Elecro Flex:
If you have a pacemaker fitted.
If you have a cardiac condition.
If you suffer with epilepsy.
If you are under 10 years of age.
After recent surgical procedures.
If you have sensory nerve damage.
If you suffer with Multiple Sclerosis.
If you suffer with extreme varicose veins.
Whilst pregnant or immediately after child birth

• Is there any warranty with the Electro Flex?
There is a standard 12 month EU consumer warranty on Electro Flex.
